Job Overview

As the Sales & Solutions Engineering Manager, you'll play a key role in developing and executing a technical solutions program. You'll leverage your expertise in data center infrastructure solution sales, marketing, and management to drive business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Sales & Solutions Engineering activities, particularly with hyperscale cloud and AI customers
  • Support the Sales Team in all aspects of project development, including presales, contract negotiations, and client technical conversations
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, ensuring their requirements align with our business objectives
  • Participate actively in the RFP process with customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create business case analyses
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting to the business
  • Stay up-to-date on the build schedule of all developments across EMEA by working with the New Site Development Department and Delivery Team
  • Drive opportunities by supporting Sales teams in designing, positioning, and proving technology solutions
  • Articulate and conduct in-depth product feature benefit discussions related to Vantage data center offerings
  • Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operational improvements
  • Engage in detailed network, power, cooling, and space assessments of customers' current and proposed IT environments
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent work experience
  • Significant experience in data center infrastructure solution sales, marketing, and management
