Job Description:

As a Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our business adheres to all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust compliance framework tailored to private medical insurance.

  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with FCA regulations, Data Protection Act, and other applicable laws.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits, risk assessments, and internal reviews to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide expert advice on compliance matters to senior management and departments across the organization.
  • Oversee training and development of staff on regulatory and compliance matters, including data protection and conduct risk.
  • Investigate and resolve any compliance-related issues or breaches, ensuring corrective actions are taken promptly.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Compliance Manager or similar role within the insurance or financial services industry (preferably in private medical insurance).
  • In-depth knowledge of FCA regulations, GDPR, and other relevant compliance requirements within the insurance sector.
  • Strong understanding of private medical insurance products and the regulatory environment around them.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify risks and propose effective solutions.
