About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Conservation Biologist to join our team in Guildford. As an Ecologist, you will play a key role in providing expert ecological advice and project support to a range of projects with varying scale and complexity.

This role involves working closely with a multi-disciplinary team, where you will be passionate about delivering high-quality ecological services across various environmental sectors, including landscape design, ecology, arboriculture, and biodiversity.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, excellent understanding of current environmental legislation, and experience in writing reports and conducting protected species surveys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing sound ecological advice to project managers
  • Writing reports and being involved in protected species surveys
  • Carrying out phase 1 habitat surveys

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree and a great understanding of current environmental legislation
  • Ecological report writing experience
  • Experience of working within a consultancy setting
