About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Subject Matter Expert to join our team at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. As an EPR SME, you will play a key role in the implementation of our new EPR system, providing subject specialist expertise to support the introduction of this critical technology.

Main Responsibilities

As an EPR SME, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing subject specialist expertise to support the introduction of the EPR system
  • Collaborating with the Chief Operational Information Officer, Workstream Leads, Workstream Analysts, and associates from our system supplier to influence the decision-making processes for the design and workflow of the new EPR
  • Collating consensus data and facilitating feedback to inform the build and establishment of future workflows within the EPR

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Substantial and significant experience in the SME subject area
  • Excellent ability to form professional working relationships with colleagues and leaders
  • Ability to provide sound judgement and give subject specific professional advice and support
