About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Ntrinsic Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering on-site installation and commissioning works at customer premises of new metering systems and associated solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Installation and Commissioning: Lead and deliver on-site installation and commissioning works at customer premises of new metering systems and associated solutions.
  2. Fault Diagnosis: Diagnose electrical/metering/communications faults using portable test equipment.
  3. Health and Safety: Ensure that installed equipment meets health and safety and local safety requirements.
  4. Project Documentation: Take ownership of project documentation to ensure adherence and completion to expected standards (including RAMS, Commissioning, and Site reports).
  5. Team Support: Support and assist the wider project team to monitor the progress of works and ensure that development, design, construction, testing, and financial targets are met, and effect remedial action where required.
  6. Technical Standards: Ensure that technical standards are maintained in all aspects of project work for safe and successful project implementation.
Requirements
  • Electrical Engineering Background: Electrical engineering or systems engineering technical background required OR a BSc/HND in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience in Electrical Instrumentation: Experience of electrical instrumentation and control systems (focus on energy metering).
  • Power Industry Knowledge: Good knowledge of the power industry, high voltage transmission, and distribution networks.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in Ethernet connections, programming of switches & routers, and good computer skills including MS Office suite and project planning software.
  • Driving License: Full driving license.
  • Relevant Training: Relevant training and qualifications (BS th/18th Edition Regulations, Full GWO, HUET, Medical and fitness including Chester step) advantageous.
