Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Midwife to join our team in Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to consolidate their midwifery skills and knowledge as a rotational midwife in a forward-looking service with enthusiastic and passionate staff who strive to improve the care of women and their families.

The preceptorship position for newly qualified midwives offers the chance to work in a supportive environment, develop clinical expertise, and contribute to making us one of the best maternity services in the country.

Main Duties

As a rotational midwife, you will assess, develop, implement, and evaluate programs of care in various environments without supervision. Once your preceptorship period is complete, you will support, supervise, and teach less experienced staff on the ward/team relevant clinical and non-clinical procedures and practices.

You will work autonomously within the department/team, adhering to trust guidelines and your professional practice sphere.
