Are you a dedicated and compassionate Childrens Nurse looking to make a real difference in the lives of seriously unwell children and their families? Our client, a leading childrens hospice in North London, is seeking a skilled Childrens Hospice Nurse to join their team in a state-of-the-art hospice in Barnet.
This role offers a unique opportunity to provide specialist care and support to children and their families, working in a safe and nurturing environment where children can play, explore, and build confidence. As a Childrens Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, effective patient care in The Ark, childrens homes, or the community, planning and reviewing care with parents, children, and young people to ensure safety, and acting as an advocate for the child and their family.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in The Ark, childrens homes, or the community.
- Plan and review care with parents, children, and young people to ensure safety.
- Act as an advocate for the child and their family.
- Ensure fun, sensitivity, compassion, and confidentiality in all care provided.
- Follow safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Maintain professional documentation and record-keeping.
- Administer medications according to policies and procedures.
- Maintain nutritional status and clinical skills necessary for holistic care.
