About the Role:

We are seeking experienced SEN Lecturers to join our team at TeacherActive. As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering core skills in English and Maths at GCSE level to pupils with additional learning and emotional/social needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a non-accredited curriculum within the framework
  • Work with disengaged pupils and those with SEN/ALN/Challenging Behaviour
  • Develop and implement positive behaviour strategies
  • Provide excellent written communication and reporting
  • Ensure excellent timekeeping and reliability

Requirements:

  • Understanding and appreciation of working with disengaged pupils and those with SEN/ALN/Challenging Behaviour
  • Experience of delivering a non-accredited curriculum within the framework
  • Positive behaviour strategy knowledge and experience of helping children self-regulate emotions
  • Excellent written communication and reporting skills
  • Excellent timekeeping and reliability
