Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Educator to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust in Wandsworth, Southwest London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about working with young children and making a positive impact on their educational journey.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that support students' social and emotional development and foster a love for learning. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with other educators and professionals to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons that meet the requirements of the Nursery curriculum
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students' social and emotional development
  • Provide individualized support to students based on their unique needs and abilities
  • Collaborate with other educators and professionals to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' achievements and behavior
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, ensuring a strong partnership between home and school

Requirements

  • QTS, EYTS, PGCE, and strong academic record
  • Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery) or equivalent
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Nursery curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Able to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students' learning and development
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school and students

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including:
