We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Team Lead to join our team at Excelcare Holdings. As a Senior Housekeeping Position, you will be responsible for leading the Housekeeping Team and ensuring that our care home is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support the Housekeeping Team to ensure that all areas of the care home are cleaned to a high standard.
  • Develop and implement cleaning rotas to ensure that bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas are cleaned regularly.
  • Work closely with the team to complete tasks and ensure that all areas of the care home are maintained to a high standard.
  • Coach and mentor the team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to undertake their roles effectively.
  • Organise and plan staff rotas to ensure that adequate team members are always on site.
  • Ensure deep cleans are undertaken as required to include floors, soft furnishings, fixtures, fittings, windows, and walls.
  • Order cleaning supplies and ensure that all equipment is safely used and kept in good working condition.
  • Comply with COSHH and Infection Control Regulations at all times.
  • Engage with residents and promote independence, choice, dignity, and respect at all times.

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping role is desirable.
