About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freelance Studio Director to join our team at New Covent Garden Market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the work studio and storage units, maintaining inventories and good practice to ensure materials and stock are kept in good condition and utilised well.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the florist team, freelancers & crew
  2. Book freelance staff when needed
  3. Plan, budget & implement events & installations
  4. Manage the work studio and storage warehouse
  5. Order and plan contract flowers

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience managing a team and maintaining motivation and morale within the team particularly while in pressured situations. You will also need to have a solid background in high-end event and contract floristry, as well as excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

We offer a competitive salary and a fun and enjoyable work environment. You will work closely with our two company directors in terms of design and planning, and will be required to be highly flexible with your working hours, including some overnight and weekend work.
