Job Title: Room Leader - Childcare Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Leader to lead our childcare team at Shorefields. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our management team and contribute to the provision of high-quality early years education.

Salary: £27,000-£28,000 per annum

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum Level 3 childcare qualification or above and a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. They will be responsible for leading a team of early years practitioners, ensuring the safeguarding of children, and promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the childcare team in providing high-quality early years education
  • Ensure compliance with EYFS guidelines and nursery policies
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for child development and progress
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on child development and staff performance
