Salary and Benefits

The successful Senior Stress Engineer will be offered a salary up to £64,000 per annum, along with a comprehensive benefits package including private healthcare, pension contribution, 25 days holiday, and a bonus scheme.

Job Description

As a Senior Stress Engineer, you will report directly into the Engineering Lead and be responsible for ensuring and executing design analysis that is fit for purpose to support delivery to quality, schedule, and budget.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing design analysis using hand calculations and FE analysis where required
  • Providing scheduling and tasking information to support project delivery
  • Identifying design solutions to solve problems identified by structural analysis
  • Authoring and/or checking design analysis documentation

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Degree/HNC/HND in an Engineering discipline or equivalent Chartered Engineer (IMechE, IET) preferred
  • Demonstrable track record in stress analysis and hand calculation using Mathcad
