Estimator - Manufacturing Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our client's team in Thetford. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering information on production times, material costs, and resource requirements to produce a standardized pricing structure using an MRP system.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of estimating principles. They will be responsible for providing quotes to customers from off-plan drawings/specifications, managing customer orders, and updating the system with order requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gathering information on production times, material costs, and resource requirements to produce a standardized pricing structure using an MRP system
  • Providing quotes to customers from off-plan drawings/specifications
  • Managing customer orders and updating the system with order requirements
  • Assisting the development of the accounts system
Requirements:
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years of experience within an estimating related role
  • Based in a commutable distance of Thetford
  • Previous experience with an MRP system
  • Good commercial acumen
  • Proficient with MS Office suite
Benefits:
  • Salary £25,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position
  • Holiday allowance and pension
