Job Description:

As a Solar Project Manager at INTEC Energy Solutions, you will be responsible for planning, staffing, and supervising all assigned work activities through site Construction Managers and subcontractors to ensure a cohesive operational unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the engineering team to plan the design and installation of the product and related items.
  • Review contract documents to ensure compliance with all required provisions.
  • Work closely with Construction Manager for oversight of contractors and trades.
  • Issue project progress reports and communicate proactively with team members.
  • Manage customer audits and inspections.
  • Provide main day-to-day customer interface and point of contact.
  • Develop Project schedules for the execution of the work within the project milestones.

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in Project management.
  • Advanced knowledge of Project management processes, means, and methods.
  • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
  • Familiarity with construction management software packages.
  • Ability to plan and see the "big picture".
  • Competent in conflict and crisis management.
  • Leadership and human resources management skills.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • BS degree in electrical engineering, civil engineering, architecture engineering, or related field.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • 5+ years of commercial/Utility construction experience.
  • Solar PV experience on commercial or utility-scale projects is a plus.
  • Prior project management experience on large-scale projects.
  • Experience with electrical systems and wiring is desired.
  • EPC, PPA, Interconnection, and site lease contract experience is a plus.
