BAE Systems is seeking a highly experienced Chief Security Officer to lead its Europe & International (E&I) Line of Business in delivering Protective Security disciplines across the region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist advice to the Head of Security-Air Sector and E&I senior leadership team, as well as leading the delivery of the BAE Systems Security Strategy across the E&I Line of Business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain critical internal and external stakeholder relationships to inform appropriate risk management strategies against identified core threat vectors.
  • Represent BAE Systems UK and International Security Working Groups, representing the interests of BAE Systems and Industry key partners.
  • Identify key security threats and risks related to the conduct of these businesses, providing the necessary analysis, assessment, prevention, assurance and response activities required to manage those security risks to an acceptable level.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in providing senior security leadership in the Government sector or commercial organisations bound by HMG standards.
  • In-depth knowledge of HMG and industry standard security policy, standards and good practice guidance.
  • Proven ability to operate in complex, ambiguous and dynamic environments.

About the Role:
