Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate Amada and Promecam press brake machines to bend sheet metal parts accurately and efficiently.
  • Review detailed engineering drawings and job orders to determine project specifications and requirements.
  • Choose appropriate tooling, dies for each job, and make adjustments to machine settings to ensure precise bending.
  • Monitor and inspect metal parts for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed.
  • Perform regular maintenance on press brake machines to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Press Brake Operator, with experience in Amada and Promecam press brake machine setup, operation, and maintenance.
  • Proficient in measuring and calculating dimensions for precise bending and fabrication.
  • Knowledge of working with hand tools, welding, grinding, and general sheet metal fabrication.
  • Familiarity with different types of tooling and dies used in press brake operations.
  • Understanding of various sheet metal materials, including their properties and handling techniques.
