We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Psychologist to join our team at the Ministry of Justice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to individuals and teams within the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct complex risk assessments and provide expert advice to inform decision-making.
- Develop and deliver training programs for staff on psychology-related topics.
- Provide consultancy support to colleagues on psychology services and outcomes.
- Conduct research and gather data to inform policy and practice.
- Act as a professional witness in formal settings, such as parole board hearings.
- Manage and provide professional supervision to trainee forensic psychology staff.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to staff and offender management.
- Lead on risk assessment and resulting risk management of complex, vulnerable, or high-risk offenders.
- Registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council.
- Experience in providing clinical supervision and training.
- Completed relevant training in effective models of treatment and best practice.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a hybrid environment, with a combination of office-based and remote work. The role will involve regular travel to different locations within the organization.
