About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to patients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations, and weight.
  • Assist in the delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse.
  • Ensure that the patient is the prime focus when making decisions about their care and well-being.
  • Assist patients with compassion when undertaking normal activities of daily living, while ensuring that privacy, dignity, and human rights are respected.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a minimum of 6 months' experience as a Care Support Worker in a hospital or hospice setting within the last 2 years. Alternatively, you may be a student nurse with at least 12 weeks' clinical placements. You will also need to provide evidence of completing the Care Certificate or a relevant qualification.
