We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our onshore shutdown team at Wood, specializing in maintenance and shutdown services for the oil, gas, and industrial sectors.

As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems and associated equipment, ensuring efficient functioning during shutdown periods.

Key requirements include:

  • Proven experience as a Pipefitter in industrial environments, preferably within the oil, gas, or related sectors.
  • Relevant pipefitting qualifications/certifications (such as NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) in pipefitting, plumbing, or a related field.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation techniques.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shutdown environment.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Valid certifications/licenses required by UK regulations for onshore shutdown projects.
