Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Management Accountant to join our team at Johnsons 1871 Ltd. As a key member of our finance function, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to our business units.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss accounts.
- Assist in the analysis and forecasting of financial performance, including the preparation of management accounts and key performance indicators.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial reports, including balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset recording.
- Develop and implement financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide financial guidance and support to business units, including the development of business cases and financial models.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payment processing.
- Manage and develop the skills of finance team members, including training and mentoring.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws, including tax and accounting standards.
- Qualified in CIMA or ACCA.
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or fit-out industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
