Cybersecurity Expert

The QinetiQ Malvern team is seeking enthusiastic and talented individuals to join their team of subject matter experts in cryptographic security. You will be actively involved in applying High Grade cryptography and key management expertise to support high-security systems and military platforms that matter for the UK.

Crypto Security Team Overview

The Crypto Security team works as part of the HMG team to understand what new crypto technology can provide and then introduces the technology into service. We work as a team, with a wide range of customers, industry partners, and international partners.

Day-to-day working with colleagues from different professional disciplines and organisations, we will;

• Provide consulting support
• Develop concepts of use in the face of changing threats
• Develop cryptographic protocols and standards within the UK and internationally for a wide range of applications including voice, network, radio communications, and key management
• Develop prototypes and system demonstrators
• Support integration and testing
• Provide in-service support and training

Our estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
