Job Description

An exceptional SEN educator and support lead is sought to join a dynamic team in Bromley. The successful candidate will have experience working with pupils who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) in KS1.

This role offers an outstanding opportunity to develop individualized learning plans that promote engagement, independence, and social skills for children with complex needs.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage educational programs based on a KS1 curriculum.
  • Work collaboratively with therapists and educational psychologists.
  • Create a supportive classroom environment.
  • Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
  • Maintain open communication with parents and caregivers.
  • Supervise a support team within the classroom.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate expertise in ASD and SLD.
  • Prior experience in a primary education setting is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: £50,000 per annum, negotiable based on qualifications and experience
