Location and Team

Our Cambridge Research centre is part of SLB's global network of research and engineering centres. We're a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment with state-of-the-art research and computing facilities. Our team works on applied research projects in the physical sciences to meet current and future industry challenges.

Job Summary

As a Software Development Professional, you'll be part of our team developing digital solutions from cloud and web-based applications to data analytics. You'll work on prototype solutions and interact with scientists, domain experts, and end-users to test and refine our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop software that integrates with various business systems, including 'digital twins'
• Support scientists on software development for user-ready prototypes, data analysis, and user interfaces
• Present demos to visitors and internal stakeholders
• Acquire and apply software development skills in a supportive environment of continuous learning

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Studying for a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Good motivation, autonomy, teamwork, and ingenuity
• Passionate interest in programming
