Job Title: Account Manager Social Media

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager Social Media to join our team at Manchester Digital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading all social media activities and developing strategies to drive client objectives and deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data-driven content strategies across social media channels, including day-to-day management of social calendars and content.
  • Allocate and assign resources in coordination with the creative team to deliver all social media work to brief, on budget, and on time.
  • Own the planning, conceptualization, creation, posting, and community management across all client accounts, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Pinterest.
  • Devise and deliver targeted paid social media campaigns that provide ROI on LinkedIn, Meta, Twitter, TikTok, and other platforms as needed.
  • Spot opportunities for organic growth and proactively formulate a strategy to expand the service offering to clients, selling ideas and concepts with conviction and enthusiasm.
  • Provide robust reporting of organic and paid social media, translating monthly performance and analytics data to actionable insights and strategy changes.
  • Guide and lead direct reports to provide the highest quality of social media content, prioritizing your own and the team's workload.
  • Play a key role in supporting Manchester Digital's new business drive, involved from lead generation to delivering outstanding pitches.
  • Knowledgeable and comfortable working across varied social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Pinterest.
  • An experienced social media strategist, capable of creating extraordinary content that matches the tone and voice of the client brand and their customers.
  • Strong relationship and time management skills, with an ability to prioritize.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with proven experience developing talent and nurturing a growing team.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills, with experience of cultivating senior client relationships.
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen with experience of growing revenues and effectively managing campaign budgets across B2B and B2C clients.
  • Knowledge of fully integrated digital solutions, including paid and organic search, web development, and broader digital activity is preferred but not essential.
