Our client, a leading FMCG company, is seeking a Category Insight Manager to join their Trade Marketing team. This exciting opportunity involves working closely with other parts of the organization, including Sales and Customer Category, to provide data-driven insights and creative ideas to develop customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the use of Category Insight throughout the Commercial team and helping the business make informed decisions about how to appeal to shoppers and consumers. This will involve providing insightful analysis and comment in response to queries from brand marketers and sales professionals.

The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in FMCG and Category Development, with a strong background in data analysis and interpretation. They will also have experience working with data providers, such as NIQ Discover, Circana Unify, and Kantar MyWorldpanel, and be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

The role requires strong analytical and interpersonal skills, including presentation, copywriting, and facilitation skills. The successful candidate will be a team player with the ability to work proactively and independently, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the use of Category Insight throughout the Commercial team
  • Provide data-driven insights and creative ideas to develop customers
  • Work closely with Sales and Customer Category teams to develop customer insights
