Community Fundraising Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Fundraising Executive to join our team in a newly created role. As a key member of our corporate fundraising team, you will play a central role in developing and delivering our community fundraising strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate supporters, identifying opportunities to add value and increase income.
  • Manage a portfolio of donors, working closely with the Corporate Partnerships Manager to engage prospective supporters and develop cultivation plans.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from other fundraising income streams to ensure a comprehensive approach to fundraising opportunities.
  • Support the delivery of benefits, reporting, and communications to existing corporate supporters.
  • Identify and research prospective corporate supporters, contributing to the development of a strong pipeline of potential supporters.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in corporate or major donor fundraising, with a track record of success in developing and delivering fundraising strategies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact and work effectively with all elements of the charity and supporters.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a proactive and collegiate approach to work.
  • Computer literate, with experience of CRM databases, data entry, and financial processing.
  • Strong empathy with the cause of the charity and its beneficiaries.
