">About the Company:

We are looking for an HR Advisor to join our Peterborough site in Bretton. This is a high-volume generalist role with opportunities to increase your skills in HR.

This is an exciting time to join PJ Care where we have plans to expand our Peterborough site and opportunities for future growth and development in the HR team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting the Head of People with the day-to-day running of the HR Department at our Peterborough site.
  2. Answering HR-related queries face-to-face, via email, or by telephone.
  3. Managing HR file compliance, including filing and archiving.
  4. Tracking appraisals and probation periods.
  5. Updating and maintaining HR information on our system.
  6. Issuing contract updates and variations as required.
  7. Contributing to improving the service provided by the HR Department.
  8. Booking meetings and taking minutes.
  9. Processing Right to Work, DBS, and Visa applications.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 3 years' experience working in HR.
  2. Ideal CIPD level 5 qualification or willingness to work towards or a degree in HR.
  3. Passion for HR and people.
  4. Excellent note-taking and record-keeping skills.
  5. This is a hybrid role with 4 days spent onsite in our HR office and 1 day working from home.
