About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Security Specialist to join our team at Motability Operations. As a key member of our Infrastructure BAU team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing best practices for Microsoft Defender for Servers (Plan 1) across our Windows and Linux hybrid estate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement automated remediation and security posture review for Defender for Servers
  • Work with the Infrastructure BAU team to remediate 3rd line issues escalated from the ITSC team
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure a proactive approach to security and compliance
About You

We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in IT infrastructure and security. You will have a good understanding of Microsoft Defender Suite, Azure ARC, and Windows Operating Systems. Additionally, you will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with the team.

Requirements
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Defender Suite (Defender for servers Plan 1)
  • Good knowledge of Hybrid onboarding
  • Good knowledge of threat and vulnerability Management
  • Excellent knowledge of Defender for Cloud portal
  • Good knowledge of Azure ARC
  • Good experience of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (2012,2016,2019,2022)
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience delivering complex change within infrastructure projects and initiatives
