Job Title: Clinical Lead Psychiatrist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Lead Psychiatrist to join our team at Tezlom Hitchin. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for leading our Psychiatric Intensive Care Units and Acute Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the needs of our patients.
  • Collaborate with other clinical colleagues and managers to ensure that our care meets the highest regulatory standards.
  • Represent the business externally at local, regional, and national level, raising the profile of the business and establishing working relationships with commissioners, community teams, and other key partners.
  • Participate in quality enhancement and service evaluation projects and will be encouraged to undertake any research which may be relevant to either short or long-term service improvement.
  • Lead the CPD programme for the hospital and foster a culture of learning.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit.
  • Experience of working in Acute Services (Male or Female).
  • Up to date with current practices in in-patient Psychiatry.
  • Driving Licence (required).
