We're a family-owned business dedicated to delivering top quality and value in fresh produce, seeking a skilled engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will provide high-level engineering services and technical support to ensure smooth operations, with a focus on reducing downtime through proactive use of our site's PM software.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Executing day-to-day maintenance tasks, including line improvements.
  2. Implementing solutions in line with our engineering strategy to reduce downtime.
  3. Using root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement in plant performance.
  4. Involvement in engineering projects from inception to delivery as required.
  5. Driving towards a PPM culture.
  6. Assisting in setting machines alongside the operations team.

Requirements:

  1. Time-served apprenticeship.
  2. Electrical qualifications from a recognised body.
  3. Mechanical qualifications from a recognised body.
  4. NVQ Level 3 or BTEC Level 3 or equivalent.
  5. Electrical fault-finding skills.
  6. Private Medical Insurance.
  7. Life assurance to 3 x salary.
