About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Engineering Expert to join our team at Capgemini Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert consultation on the implementation and optimization of Siemens NX software in marine engineering and shipbuilding projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze client requirements and business processes to develop tailored solutions that meet project needs.
  • Advise clients on best practices for using NX to enhance design, simulation, and manufacturing processes in the marine industry.
  • Lead and manage NX implementation projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver training programs and workshops for clients to enhance their proficiency in using NX software.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user manuals, training materials, and best practices guides.
  • Customize and configure NX software to meet specific client needs, integrating it with other systems and technologies.
  • Conduct testing and validation of customized solutions to ensure they meet performance and functionality requirements.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements in the marine industry.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience working with Siemens NX software, including design, simulation, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proven track record in the marine industry, with a deep understanding of shipbuilding processes.
  • Project management experience, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g., VB, Python) for NX customization is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
