A vibrant and inclusive primary school in London seeks an experienced and qualified SEN Leadership Specialist to lead and enhance SEND provision.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position starting April 2025, offering a competitive salary of approximately £45,000 - £60,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement SEND Policy: Create and execute a comprehensive SEND policy that meets the needs of diverse students.
  • Coordinate Interventions: Manage and monitor interventions to support students with special educational needs.
  • Support Teachers: Advise and guide teachers to cater to the diverse needs of pupils.
  • Liaise with Parents and Agencies: Collaborate with parents, external agencies, and local authorities to provide optimal support for students with SEND.
Requirements:

  • SENDCo Qualification and QTS: Hold a relevant SENDCo qualification (NASENCO) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Leadership Experience: Possess experience in a leadership role or similar position within SEND.
  • SEND Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of SEND legislation, best practices, and excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
