Service Volunteer Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Volunteer Specialist to join our team at the Confederation of Service Charities. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with experience in volunteer recruitment and management to make a real difference to the lives of vision impaired veterans.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment, training and support of volunteers across Lancashire, Cumbria and the Isle of Man, as well as delivering induction and training to volunteers, coordinating volunteers to conduct home visits, activity support, fundraising and awareness raising, and maintaining accurate records and monitoring volunteer activities.
The salary for this position is approximately £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including generous annual leave, pension scheme, healthcare cash plan, access to legal services and mental health support.
To be considered for this position, please ensure you have a qualification in volunteer or people management, or equivalent relevant vocational experience. You should also be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and organisational skills, as well as experience of cross departmental working and building external networks and relationships.
