Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Suffolk New College Rural Campus. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our learners and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals for our learners and staff, ensuring high standards of food hygiene and presentation.
  • Manage food preparation, cooking, and food and drink service, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the catering team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food.
  • Contribute to the wider College health and safety activity, participating in training and adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Travel between campuses as required, working at Suffolk New College Rural and other College sites.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a school, college, or commercial catering operation.
  • Up-to-date Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Good understanding of health and safety principles and willingness to undertake training.
