Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Equipment Specialist to join our team at Central & North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and installations across various sites within the trust.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain and repair mobile equipment, including vehicles and mechanical systems, to ensure optimal performance and extend lifespan.
  2. Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) checks on water, fire, ventilation, electrical, and building fabric systems to guarantee statutory compliance and safety standards.
  3. BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH COLLEAGUES, STAKEHOLDERS, AND EXTERNAL SERVICE PROVIDERS TO SUPPORT THE DELIVERY OF SERVICES IN A PROFESSIONAL, TIMELY MANNER.
  4. CARRY OUT REACTIVE MAINTENANCE, INCLUDING MAKE SAFE, MINOR INSTALLATIONS, AND BREAKDOWN REPAIRS ON ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL SYSTEMS, OR BUILDING FITTINGS AS REQUIRED.

Requirements
  • Educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline, with demonstrable experience working in a similar environment.
  • Able to evidence self-motivation, willingness to undergo further training, and sufficient physical fitness to perform job duties safely.
  • Proven ability to work unsupervised, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate records.
