Production Manager

Asper Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our client's team in their specialist joinery manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products, and collaborating with the Operations and Workshop Manager to achieve company targets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and company objectives.
- Manage and coordinate the production team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output.
- Collaborate with the Operations and Workshop Manager to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and improve productivity.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of products to customers, maintaining excellent relationships and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet the required standards, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering materials and supplies as needed to maintain a smooth production process.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor and report on production metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a production management role, preferably in a manufacturing or joinery environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
