We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to join our team at Sphere Solutions, where you will have the opportunity to lead a major project in the construction industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the civil infrastructure on a large-scale project, including remediation, groundworks, services, access roads, and external works.

This is an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role in a high-profile project and contribute to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage site staff, sub-contractors, and operatives to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, including RAMS and production schedules.
  • Monitor contract costs and ensure they align with agreed budgets.
  • Coordinate design and construction activities to ensure timely completion of contracts.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Supervise and mentor the site team to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver the project.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in the civils sector, working for a main contractor, with a focus on groundworks and remediation.
  • Proven track record in a PM or Senior PM capacity, with a strong understanding of project management principles.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as SMSTS, Temp Work Coordinator, and CSCS.
  • Familiarity with NEC contracts and ICE membership is an advantage.
  • Strong commercial knowledge and understanding of project finance.
