Trade Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist to join our Customs and Trade Compliance team for a 6-month assignment, likely to be extended. This is a full-time temporary role (37.5 hours/week) primarily remote with occasional on-site work in the UK.

  • Ensure compliance with customs and export regulations.
  • Monitor import/export activities and gather necessary data for licenses.
  • Collaborate with brokers and government agencies to maintain compliance.
  • Prepare and analyse trade documentation and data.

Requirements:

  • Logistics/shipping knowledge
  • Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, filters, etc.).

Must-Haves:

  • Clear communication
  • IT skills (MS Office, especially Excel)
  • Proactivity

Education & Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience

This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of customs and export regulations, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.
