Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Electrical Engineers, overseeing MEP projects and collaborating with colleagues from other engineering disciplines.
  • Raise the profile and reputation of the UK Healthcare Team through high-quality work and client engagement.
  • Develop and implement electrical concepts and design philosophies, ensuring innovative and sustainable solutions.
  • Inspire and motivate engineers and technicians to deliver exceptional results.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders, representing Ramboll at project meetings and negotiations.
  • Support key accounts and develop new business opportunities, aligning with UK Healthcare team sector strategies.
  • Produce high-quality fee proposals and ensure best practices for delivery of sustainable, zero-carbon services.
  • Manage own projects and act as MEP or electrical engineering project manager, allocating resources and coordinating tasks.

Your Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in UK Healthcare sector projects, such as hospital construction within the UK.
  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • MCIBSE, MIET, or MIHEEM certification, with a thorough understanding of digital design delivery through Revit/BIM 360.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to run multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Understanding of project commercial and technical risks.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts in plain language.
  • Able to motivate and inspire confidence both internally and externally.
  • Able to work autonomously on all technical aspects of the discipline.
