We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team at Pro-Finance. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and ambitious boutique accountancy practice in North West London.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in audit and a proven track record of managing a portfolio of clients. They will be responsible for ensuring the pro-active planning and execution of all audit engagements, including open and close meetings with clients.

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102 and experience of using CaseWare audit software. They will also have good teamwork and communication skills, as well as the ability to coach and train junior members of the audit department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients within TMT, property investment companies, manufacturing, technology, UK subsidiaries of international clients, with US, or Australian parent companies
  • Ensuring pro-active planning & execution of all audit engagements, including open and close meetings with clients
  • Establishing the audit approach; reviewing audit work papers and ensuring that audit files are completed in a timely manner and in line with client expectations
  • Responsibility for managing junior members of audit department
  • Software is CaseWare

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA Qualified
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing and running a varied audit portfolio in a UK practice
  • Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102
  • Experience of using CaseWare audit software (or a similar audit software)
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to coach and train in a supportive manner

What We Offer:

  • Salary up to £65k DOE
  • Hybrid working, 3 days office and 2 days home with no set days
  • Flexible working, with core hours 10am-3pm
  • Bonus, the audit team's success has seen the receive a bonus of up to 9%

  • International Travel - to Mexico, Miami, Panama and Belgium
