Job Summary

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading manufacturer of material handling equipment, automation, and robotics seeking a graduate with a strong knowledge of programming and an interest in robotics to join a global organization at the forefront of warehouse technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and commission driverless systems (AGVs) at customer sites across the UK and Ireland
  • Test and validate these solutions and undertake proof of concept configuration
  • Utilize programming languages such as KIWI, C, C++, MATLAB, or Python
  • Design customer material flow processes in relation to AGVs
  • Assess and implement damage analysis
  • Provide customers with technical support post-sale
Requirements

The company has a preference for an individual with a qualification in a programming language, including KIWI, C, C++, MATLAB, or Python, as this will be essential for the requirements of the role. The role would suit a recent graduate with a degree in robotics, mechatronics, or similar. It is essential to hold a full, clean UK driver's license and be willing to spend extensive time traveling the UK. There will also be requirements to travel to Europe on occasion.
