The Role in Context

At Wave Leisure Trust, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a friendly, safe, and efficient service to all customers at our leisure centre.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate teams to deliver excellence in all areas of operating a busy centre.
• Supervise staff, ensuring high results and responding to changing priorities.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Manage cash handling and reconciliation, as well as financial systems.
• Ensure compliance with Wave Active Limited Policies and Procedures.

Requirements

• Hold or be able to obtain a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
• Strong interpersonal skills to adapt communications and approach to suit different circumstances.
• Good organisational skills and excellent time management.
• Experience of recruiting, training, and developing staff.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
