Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maths Teacher to join our team at a fantastic Secondary school in North London. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to Key Stages 3-5 and will have the opportunity to work with students across the ability spectrum.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate practitioner who has flair and creative skill to teach Mathematics in a forward-thinking department with dedicated facilities and a team of experienced teachers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. To teach Mathematics to Key Stages 3-5 and contribute to the development of the Mathematics curriculum.
  2. To assess, record and report on student progress in accordance with school policies and procedures.
  3. To participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences and other educational events as required.

Requirements

  • A recognised teaching qualification in the UK, including QTS (or an appropriate overseas qualification leading to obtaining QTS).
  • Experience of teaching a range of syllabuses on the National Curriculum, ideally at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Ability to differentiate lessons for mixed-ability pupils at GCSE and A-Level.
