Financial Planning and Analysis Manager Role

The Growth Company is committed to delivering exceptional services, and we're seeking a skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our team.


About the Role

As a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our forecasting and budgeting processes. You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive financial analysis and insights to our Senior Management Team and Managing Director. Your expertise will help us make informed decisions and drive business growth.


Key Responsibilities

  2. Financial Systems Development: Develop and implement tailored financial systems and processes to meet our evolving business needs.
  3. Financial Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare timely and accurate financial budgets, forecasts, and management information to support our Business Units' Senior Management Teams and Managing Director.
  4. Commercial Modelling: Conduct comprehensive financial modelling for tenders, commercial opportunities, and grant claims to facilitate informed decision-making.
  5. Collaboration and Support: Work with our Finance Reporting team to ensure effective collaboration on management accounts and cash flow.
  6. Contract Lifecycle Support: Provide financial support throughout the contract lifecycle, ensuring financial rigour and compliance.
  7. External Reporting: Provide accurate and timely external financial reporting to commissioning bodies, including thorough narratives.
  8. Audit Support: Maintain schedules to support our annual audit cycle, focusing on revenue recognition and core accounting principles.

About You

  2. Finance Experience: You have significant experience in finance, with at least 2 years' experience in F.P & A or a similar finance function.
  3. Financial Analysis: You have expertise in financial analysis and reporting.
  4. Financial Modelling: You can develop financial models for analysis and review.
  5. Robust Analysis: You have experience in robust and meaningful financial analysis.

Requirements

  2. Accounting Qualification: You hold a recognised accounting qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or are qualified by experience.
  3. Financial Reporting Standards: You have an understanding of Financial Reporting Standards and their application.
  4. Excel Skills: You possess advanced Excel knowledge and application.
