A Science Teacher is required to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust to teach Science to students with special educational needs. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing personalised education and support for SEN learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Science across key stages delivering lessons tailored to SEN students.
- Develop engaging and accessible lesson plans that meet the individual needs of each student.
- Work closely with the SENCo to design and implement IEPs.
- Monitor and assess the academic and personal progress of students.
- Use innovative strategies to support student engagement and understanding of Science concepts.
Requirements:
- QTS with a specialism in Science.
- Experience teaching students with SEN including SEMH ASD and MLD.
- Strong classroom management and differentiation skills.
- A clear DBS check.
