About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems, mechanical power, and control wiring at our Midlands Super Hub.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including fault finding and diagnosis.
  • Work on multiple FM systems, with a focus on electrical maintenance.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to customers and colleagues on electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Liaise with customers and colleagues to ensure customer requirements are met and project a positive professional image of Royal Mail P&FS.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in electrical maintenance and repair, with experience of working on electrical systems, mechanical power, and control wiring.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • A flexible approach to work, with the ability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.
