Job Title: Site Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team at Randstad. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects, from setting out areas to quality assurance and health and safety compliance.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established civils contractor, with a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from highways schemes to water treatment works. You will be working on a highways scheme initially, so experience in this area would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting out areas using drawings provided
  • Quality Assurance and control
  • Carrying out precise works to project specifications
  • Keeping site records and diaries
  • Writing and reviewing RAMS and ITPs
  • Health and Safety compliance and liaison with site staff
Requirements:
  • Degree or HND qualified in a relevant field
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and use of Total Stations or GPS
  • Experience in highways, bridges, infrastructure, environmental, frameworks, and special works
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work within budgets and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work within a team
