About the Role:


We are seeking a highly analytical and numerate individual to join our team as a Data Analysis Expert for Wholesale Banking. As a Senior Analyst, you will lead the development of quantitative models to accurately measure risk and support the execution of Significant Risk Transfer (SRT) transactions from a Global Risk Analytics perspective.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and maintain quantitative models to measure risk, ensuring they are fit for purpose and intuitive for business decision-making and risk management.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
  • Collaborate with the Head of EC to build an effective and robust EC analytical function.
  • Ensure independence in analytical issues and maintain control of data sources, model data quality, and model delivery.
  • Support colleagues responsible for checking model data quality, monitoring, and reporting issues.


Requirements:



  • Extensive experience in Wholesale banking, particularly in modelling or a similar entity.
  • High numeracy and analytical capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of Credit Risk and Economic Capital (EC).
  • Excellent knowledge of AIRB modelling, Matlab, SAS data manipulation, Python modelling, and statistical analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain close working relationships with related parties.
