About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP Applications Management expert to lead our Applications Management team through an upgrade to SAP S/4 HANA.

This individual will be responsible for developing a comprehensive strategy for Application Management, ensuring effective supplier management, and providing excellent leadership to the Applications Management team.

Main Responsibilities

  • To scope, plan and complete the business case for change related to the RISE - SAP S/4 HANA upgrade & BTP deployment.
  • To lead the Strategy & Roadmap for Application Management, with a key focus on SAP S/4 HANA & BTP, creating a 5-to-10-year Strategy & Roadmap.
  • To deliver the plan, designing the 'To-Be' Operating Model for Application Management, managing and optimising the solution in BAU.
  • To create and manage a Business-as-Usual (BAU) Application Management Operating Model that fully supports the transition to SAP S/4 Hana.
  • To deliver the SAP S/4 HANA upgrade and a new Operating Model that supports the SAP S/4 Hana environment.
  • To lead Applications Management Team, consisting of SAP Functional Consultants, ABAP & MERN Stack Developers.
  • Accountability for the delivery of the Applications Management Budget.
  • To support a Transformation Programme focused on a growth agenda, supporting projects within the programme that require AM enablement/support.

Requirements

  • SAP Applications Management experience of 15+ years.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering SAP S/4 HANA implementation and upgrade projects/programmes.
  • Solid knowledge of SAP Solutions Architecture.
  • High-level knowledge of ABAP, SAP Configuration and BTP Integration Toolset.
  • Experience in leading an Applications Management team through an upgrade to SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Able to provide an AM service across non-SAP solutions (In-house, SaaS & COTS).
  • Ability to design new operating models to support an SAP S/4 HANA platform.
  • Developing medium-long term strategy/roadmaps for Application Management.
  • Third Party Supplier Management and Engagement, with contracts and services aligned to SAP and Application Management.
  • Leadership skills, including experience of leading SAP Teams, Hybrid/Remote Teams effectively.
  • Able to deliver well thought-through quality plans, then deliver them effectively.

Salary

The salary range for this role is £120,000 - £150,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
